 When Mr. Meshaal Al-tamo (the official spokesman for the Kurdish Future Movement in Syria) driving his private car-type (Geley) No. 570202 white-colored car, from the city -Ain AlArab- (kobany) traveled to the city of Aleppo, where he had left the house of the lawyer Radeef-Mustafa the Chairman of the Kurdish Committee for Human Rights, after leaving the house , and during the traveling , he was arrested also his car and concealment by Syrian security authorities, at 2:30 AM , and His fate remains unknown.

Tammo's Car Found, Authorities Deny His Detention

According to Soparo, a Kurdish news web site, the car of Mashaal Tammo, the kidnapped Kurdish activist who disappeared Friday morning, was found parked outside the Military Security branch in Aleppo yet the security has denied it is holding him. The white car was recognized by his family with his laptop still inside.

Kurdish Activist Kidnapped in Northern Syria

Mashaal Tammo, a well known Kurdish activist, was kidnapped at 2am Friday from the city of Ain al-Arab in Northern Syria, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, after a meeting he held with his attorney Radeef Mustapha and while en route to Aleppo. The Syrian Mukhabarat is suspected of the kidnapping.

Appeal for the release of Kurdish leader Mohamed Moussa

 Mr. Mohamed Moussa, the Secretary of the Kurdish Leftist Party in Syria, was interrogated and threatened by the branch of military security in the city of Qamishli, and was then taken to the Division of Military Intelligence base 'Palestine' in Damascus, where investigations were ongoing with him for seven consecutive days.  He was then arrested on 19 July 2008 and he remains there until now

Kurdish Dissident Arrested In Syria

 Mohmmad Mussa, Secretary General of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, was arrested on Saturday by the Syrian security forces. His whereabouts are still unknown. Mussa was arrested using the powers of a set of emergency laws that have been instituted in Syria under the Assad takeover of the country for over 45 years.

German Hostages Released

Three Germans seized by Kurdish rebels during a climbing expedition on Mount Ararat more than a week ago have been released in good condition, authorities said Sunday.

Foreign Minister Ali Babacan called his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on Sunday to let him know the Germans were in Turkish custody, the Foreign Ministry said. Officials refused to say where or when the climbers were released.
